125 Years Since Queensland Derby

Today marks 125 years since Master Bernie won the Queensland Derby in 1899. He was owned and trained by my great-great-grandfather, Mr C. Rogan, and ridden by his son, my great-grandfather Reinhold. 

It’s cool to know that the passion for horse racing goes back so many years within my family. Best of luck to the connections in this year’s edition!
