The Keeneland September Yearling Sale continues to provide outstanding opportunities to source athletic, well-bred yearlings at exceptional value and this year proved no different, with Boomer Bloodstock securing three quality yearlings in conjunction with Californian trainer Dan Blacker.

Hip 750 – Bolt d’Oro x Honey’s Sox Appeal, filly – $90,000

This filly was secured late in Book 2 from the Legacy Bloodstock draft and represents exceptional value. By Bolt d’Oro and out of a multiple Stakes-winning mare, she possesses both pedigree depth and physical quality. She is an athletic, well-balanced filly with the type to suit American racing and will head into the Dan Blacker system as an exciting prospect for the future.
Hip 919 – Munnings x Solo Uno, colt – $75,000

A son of proven sire Munnings, this colt stood out as a strong, tough individual ideally suited to the Californian racing program. Purchased from Indian Creek, he combines the strength and scope typical of his sire with the constitution required to succeed. At $75,000, he represents outstanding value and looks a very practical racehorse for his new connections.
Hip 1149 – Early Voting x Jacquelyn d’Oro, filly – $60,000

This two-turn dirt filly was another late Book 2 purchase that was of incredible value. From the respected Valkyre Stud draft, she is from a deep female family and has the physical presence and athleticism to develop into a classic type for the American program. She rounded out a very satisfying Book 2 for the team.
