Yarramalong Park is a farm we’ve had success with in the past, having purchased seven-time winner Eskdale Girl from there in 2017 for only $60k. This filly is a smooth mover with an athletic action, good bone structure and a temperament to match. In terms of pedigree she’s out of a half-sister to G3-placed Mareeza and is by the proven sire Better Than Ready. She will now head to Queensland’s premier trainer in Tony Gollan.
Lot 330 Sidestep x Tears (Stromberg Carlson) colt $36,000
On the second day we managed to secure this well-mannered colt from a proven source of quality horses and great client in Daandine Stud. His dam, Tears, has already produced two winners from only four foals and is from the same family as G1 winner Single Gaze. With plenty of scope this colt was a fantastic value purchase at only $36k. He was purchased for a Queensland client who has had success with the family and will now head to North Queensland to begin his education racing career.
