Lot 134 – Colt – Pierro x Miss Que $600k
From a top producing farm in Coolmore Stud, this tough, sound colt by Pierro looks well-suited to Hong Kong racing. He is out of the Group 3-placed Miss Que, who is by one of the best broodmare sires in Fastnet Rock. She is also a half-sister to a Group 2 winner, and this is her first foal.
Lot 208 – Colt – Zoustar x Our Crown Mistress $650k
An excellent stamp of his sire Zoustar, this colt has loads of scope, a nice short cannon and plenty of strength. He is the second foal from a two-time Listed winner who is herself by Star Witness, from the family of Champion 3YO Racing To Win and The Everest winner Classique Legend.
Lot 251 – Colt – Smart Missile x Porcellanus $275k
This strong and smooth-moving colt by Smart Missile is from an excellent family. His dam is Group 3-placed and one of her progeny has already proved successful in Hong Kong. Amongst his relatives is the dual-Group 1 winner Coco Cabanna.
Lot 352 – Colt – Capitalist x Sensualism $500k
This outstanding colt by leading sire Capitalist is from one of Australia’s best nurseries, Mill Park. His dam is a five-time winner and a half-sister to two stakes winners. He has a lovely, deep chest and a strong hip and he’s from a tough family. He looks tailor-made for Hong Kong.
Lot 472 – Colt – Toronado x Tereka $850k
This was my favourite colt in the sale, and we were thrilled to secure him. He is an excellent model of Toronado, a great mover, with good bone, scope and a wonderful temperament. He is the first foal from his dam, who is a half-sister to Hong Kong stakes horse Music Legend, a seven-time winner who was placed in the Group 3 Premier Cup.
