Active clients and exciting racing have been keeping Boomer Bloodstock busy since arriving back in Australia from America, with the Spring Carnival in full swing and the ever-growing Everest Carnival running its third edition.
The past month has also been filled with success on the track with Extreme Pride winning at Caulfield on Cup day for her fourth win in a row as well as other nice winners; Purroni, Concrete Madame, Kwai, Cadence, Aeecee Vinco, Zabelarina and Hit The Road.
Scheduled on the calendar at this busy time of year are the Magic Millions Ready to Run Sale and the Inglis Ready to Race Sale where Boomer has been inspecting and purchasing horses for Asian client Beijing Racing Stables to ultimately race in China.
Lot 144 – Golden Archer x Sweet Cherub
Two colts were secured at the Magic Millions Ready to Run Sale. The first purchase, Lot 144, is a colt by Golden Archer out of Canny Lad mare Sweet Cherub. He descends from the family of stakes winners The Cloisters and Love and Money, and was a value buy at just $26,000 from Raheen Stud.
Lot 248, a colt by Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner All Too Hard, was also secured for $75,000 from the draft of Alexia Fraser Bloodstock. He is out of stakes winning Fasliyev mare Fasline whose family also includes stakes winners Umaline and Captain Sonador.

Boomer and Beijing Racing Stables were also active buyers at the Inglis Ready to Race Sale, purchasing a further three 2-year-olds.
An attractive Sizzling filly, Lot 10 was the first purchase of the Sale and was knocked down for $100,000 from Princess Park Thoroughbred Farm. Out of Snippets mare Aringarosa, she is from the family of stakes winners Centrofold and Smart Kid.
A colt by emerging sire Dissident, Lot 30, will also join the stable, with Boomer outlaying $130,000 to acquire the son of Carlton Show, a half-sister to stakes winner Carlton Spirit, from consignor Hannover Lodge.
The third and final purchase at the Sale was an $85,000 colt by Group 1 sire Foxwedge, catalogued as Lot 67 on account of Epsom Lodge. He is out the O’Reilly mare Gogoreilly who is a half-sister to two stakes winners in Antonio Lombardo and Master of Arts.
The two sales rounded out what has been a successful season for Boomer Bloodstock, both in the sales ring and on the track. Boomer now heads back to America for the Breeders’ Cup where his yearling purchase Hit The Road will compete. Following this are the broodmare sales in Kentucky at Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton which Boomer will be attending.
