Motorious scores in G3

Motorious (GB), Tattersalls Horses in Training purchase for long time Boomer Bloodstock client Tony Fanticola, targets the 2026 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint Gr. 1 at Del Mar for a third consecutive year.

The seven-year-old gelding, trained by Phil D’Amato, narrowly missed out on the win in last year’s BC turf sprint and has since returned to the track after a 6 month break to win convincingly in the Daytona Stakes Gr.3 on the downhill turf course at Santa Anita.   He showed his usually explosive turn of foot and will likely make one more start at Del Mar ahead of the Breeders’ Cup.  The win took his record to nine wins and over $850,000 in prizemoney.
