Saturday was a huge day for the connections of Sizzle Minizzle, who celebrated the 3-year-old’s biggest career success so far as he took out the Country Championships Final (1400m) at Royal Randwick by a massive 2-length margin.

Trained by Brett Robb, the son of Sizzling was a $35,000 purchase at the 2021 Inglis Premier Sale by Boomer Bloodstock from Merricks Station for his current ownership group, and he has now won four of his 11 starts and amassed over $500,000 in earnings.

Strong and tidy as a yearling, Sizzle Minizzle is out of the Magic Albert mare Greenmount Belle, an eight-time winner who was Listed-placed, and is a full-brother to the G3 Black Opal Stakes-placed Sizzling Belle.
