The Inglis Premier Sale continues to over-achieve on the racetrack with a steady stream of stake winning graduates sold here. This year Boomer Bloodstock secured two purchases with one heading to the Hong Kong Jockey Club and the other to trainer Lindsey Smith.
Lot 140 – Colt, Zoustar x Bidii Babe
Our first purchase for Inglis Premier 2024 was one of the standouts from the sale and was secured from Yarraman Park Stud for $460,000. By Zoustar, his dam is stakes winner, Bidii Babe, who is out of multiple stakes-placed Arthur’s Lass. He looks like an exciting prospect for Hong Kong and will be prepared for the 2026 Hong Kong International Sale.
Lot 306 – Colt, Shamus Award x Italian Alps
This powerful son of Shamus Award was a $220,000 purchase from Ultra Thoroughbreds for trainer Lindsey Smith. Out of the Fastnet Rock mare Italian Alps, who is the daughter of G1 placegetter and G2 winner, La Italia. From a speedy family he looks like an exciting sprinter-miler type.
