Boomer secures seven at the Magic Millions National Sale
Boomer Bloodstock had a strong showing at the recent Magic Millions National Sale, kicking off with a standout weanling purchase before securing six quality broodmares for a range of clients across two days of bidding.

Lot 26 – So You Think x Lindisfarne (Filly)
Boomer opened the Magic Millions account at the Weanling Sale, securing this lovely So You Think filly for $220,000 from Taghadoe Stud. She is out of a US Stakes winner and is a half-sister to the G3 Standish winner Disneck, from a strong black type family. She joins the Murray Thoroughbreds operation and is exactly the type of early find that gets the team excited.

Lot 438 – Queen Air (Toronado)
Queen Air, a Group 1-performed Toronado mare, was the first broodmare purchase of the sale. Purchased from Eureka Stud for $100,000, she is a good-looking individual, a Melbourne city winner of $439,925 in prizemoney, and was 3rd in the G1 VRC Oaks. She represents strong value and joins the Murray Thoroughbreds broodmare band.

Lot 463 – Storyville (Overshare)
Storyville is a multiple Group winning mare from Western Australia and was purchased from Newington Farm for $300,000. She hails from a strong West Australian female line and is a natural fit for the Greenfields MV broodmare operation, further strengthening an already quality band.

Lot 467 – Sun ‘n’ Sand (Pride Of Dubai)
Sun ‘n’ Sand, a Group 1-placed daughter of Pride Of Dubai, was secured for $160,000 from North Bloodstock. Another well-credentialled addition to the Murray Thoroughbreds broodmare band, the good-looking individual was second in the ATC Oaks and looks exceptional value.

Lot 520 – Extratwo (Toronado)
This one was the day’s biggest purchase. Extratwo was acquired from Ciaron Maher Racing for $360,000. She’s a powerful Toronado mare who is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Twitchy Frank and traces back to the family of Chayan. The six-time winner and multiple Group performer joins Murray Thoroughbreds as a seriously performed individual with plenty to offer as a producer.

Lot 608 – Miss Monopoly (Smart Missile)
Miss Monopoly was secured for just $45,000 from Willow Park Stud and represented great value at that price point. The well-related mare carries a foal by Storm Boy and heads west to Solid Gold Farm.

Lot 725 – Arctic Fairy (Zoustar)
Arctic Fairy, a Zoustar mare purchased for $210,000 from Newington Farm, rounded out a productive sale for the Boomer team. Infoal to Traffic Warden and from a precocious family, the outstanding type joins the Daandine Stud broodmare band with plenty of upside ahead.
