Boomer Secures Three Quality Yearlings at Inglis Classic Sale 2025
The 2025 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale has come to a close and Boomer Bloodstock, in partnership with John Thompson Racing, has acquired three exceptional yearlings. With focus on conformation, breeding, and long-term potential, this trio is poised for success.

Lot 288: Zousain x Here de Joy (Colt)
We kicked off the sale with a standout colt by Zousain, secured for $140,000 from Vinery Stud. This athletic colt comes from a strong black-type family, featuring Group 1 winners Masked Party, Inspiration, and Wandjina. Zousain’s progeny are already making an impact on the track, and this colt has the strength and scope to follow suit.

Lot 615: Nicconi x Screebe (Filly)
Next up, we landed a sharp, well-balanced filly by Nicconi for $80,000 from Twin Hills Stud. Out of Screebe, she hails from the family of Champion 2YO Colt Vancouver, bringing plenty of speed and precocity to the table. Nicconi, the sire of world-class sprinter Nature Strip, needs no introduction, and this filly looks every bit a fast, early-running type. She’s got a compact build, a confident walk, and all the right attributes to make an impact on the track.

Lot 636: King’s Legacy x Sheza Gypsy (Colt)
Rounding out our purchases, we were delighted to secure a strong King’s Legacy colt for $160,000 from Middlebrook Valley Lodge. With a deep girth, strong shoulder, and a purposeful walk, this colt proves to be in the same mold as our promising filly by the same sire, Open Secret. Out of Sheza Gypsy the half-sister to Listed winner, Rom Baro – Kingsfield (H.K), this colt boasts a solid genetic foundation.
